The beer pours to a very hazy caramel mahogany body with a tan head. The aroma is caramel, milk, toffee, chocolate, cheesecake. The flavor is caramel, toffee, and cheesecake. Not phenomenal unfortunately. I love cheesecake. The palate is moderate at best. This beer excels at aromatic qualities. Pailhead (2603), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Thanks to whomever brought this for tasting at Dark Lord Day - it was a nice suprise. There was a sour nuttiness laced with vanilla and caramel as it sat. I found more of the same in the body along with a buttery caramel texture. the finish was flat and dry. I was hoping for a little more balance and complexity but found something still pretty enjoyable. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

Cracked this open, full of expectation. The taste, nose, smell, pour, the whole thing was cola like. Must say, not overly happy with this, but will hopefully try this again. argo0 (6978), Washington DC, USA

Good retention. Cocoa and cola fill the nose. Nicely balanced, malty, lightly bitter flavor. Whispers of molasses and deeply roasted nuts. Medium-bodied with a mild, creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Finishes thin, grassy and dry.
