Jun 23, 2005 the b in boris must stand for something better than that, ill have to knock it down a peg or two now. Very thick black color. very mild coffee tones. flavor is really deep and starts like really bitter chocolates that surrender to smooth mild coffee.

Jun 23, 2005 Thick black pour. I hope Im not turning into BeerCellar2, but I got diacytl on this. :/ Anyway the aroma was malty sweet, sugary molasses and chocolate, and butterscotch. Aside from the butterscotch in the flavor, there was also roasted chocolate and coffee. Very full body.

Jun 23, 2005 Pours with a black body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a slight licorice note and a touch of roasted coffee. The flavor is sweet and malty with a great roasty chocolate note and a touch of coffee. Full bodied and smooth.

Jun 21, 2005 Pours an opaque, darkest brown color, nmo head. Aroma of molasses, brown sugar, and something else I’m not getting. Flavor is sweet and malty, caramel, grass, chocolate, vegetables. Weird I know? I wasnt even eating veggies when I rated this. Mm.....

Jun 20, 2005 A pitch black appearance with a tan head. This one was very sweet with some chocolate covered cherry flavors. Some milk chocolate and raisins are present also. It had a slightly sour aftertaste.

Jun 19, 2005 Deep brown-black hue with a tan, creamy head. Lots of butterscotch, chocolate, raisins and anise. Heavily sweet flavor becomes a heavily sweet, lightly acidic finish. Medium-full body, oily/velvety texture, moderate carbonation. The bottom line is: a very fine mix of chocolate and dark fruits throughout.
