Commercial Description:
Leftovers ... We aged some Chuck (sort of a brown-bretty) in wooden barrels with sour cherries for six months. It emerged with a somewhat subdued brett presence but tastes more like a flemish sour. 6.4% abv. (33 cases in 750ml)

25 oz bottle. Pours a clear ruby tinged brown body under a very small head that faded to a whispy film light brown in color. Aroma is malty, lightly tart, and acidic. Some light brett and sugary sweetness that makes it almost gueuze like in aroma. Fairly strong aroma of cherry pits as well. Flavor is quite gueuze like as well with a bit of a deeper malt backbone. A good dose of brett on the finish with a light tartness. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied with soft minimal carbonation. Finish is quite dry and refreshing. Overall, I quite enjoyed this beer. Not really sure if it qualifies as a Flemish Sour at all, but it really doesn’t fit into any category well. I’ll just put it in the "recommended’ category.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, reddish brown with a yellowish head. Fantastic aroma of oak and vanilla. Medium-bodied with lightly sour accents and an edge of oak. Quite interesting. 240706
