Feb 11, 2007 Bottled. A slightly hazy deep red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very special with a mixture of cinnamon, violet, cloves, berries, and alcohol. The flavor is slightly acidic with strong notes of berries and spices as well as lighter notes of alcohol, wood, and metal. The acidity is very bret like.

Feb 14, 2006 Dark amber colour. Very hazy. Slight oaky, cherryish, rodenbachy aroma. Very light body and restrained flavour. Hints of cherry. Not much backing the oak and cherry up (malt and mouthfeel I’m looking for) and even the most up-front flavours lack conviction. Oh well, you don’t always succeed every time you experiment.

Nov 18, 2007 (11/3/07, 750ml bottle, thanks eclectic) Minimal beige head with clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, brett, caramel, brown sugar, some cherry, light Bourbon, cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, brett/cherry, caramel. Medium body with no carbonation. Alas, I fear that this beer is showing its age.
