The aroma is very special with a mixture of cinnamon, violet, cloves, berries, and alcohol. The flavor is slightly acidic with strong notes of berries and spices as well as lighter notes of alcohol, wood, and metal. The acidity is very bret like. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Fantastic aroma of oak and vanilla. Medium-bodied with lightly sour accents and an edge of oak. Quite interesting. 240706 omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Wonderful lactic acidity in the nose with vague notes of sour cherries. Light, rounded malt profile. There’s perfumy notes as well as rosehip. Unfortunately the promising aroma doesn’t really carry over into the flavour and it all fizzes out a bit quick. But what an aroma... joergen (8635), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 14, 2006 Dark amber colour. Very hazy. Slight oaky, cherryish, rodenbachy aroma. Very light body and restrained flavour. Hints of cherry. Not much backing the oak and cherry up (malt and mouthfeel I’m looking for) and even the most up-front flavours lack conviction. Oh well, you don’t always succeed every time you experiment. argo0 (6998), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is medium sweet, brett, caramel, brown sugar, some cherry, light Bourbon, cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, brett/cherry, caramel. Medium body with no carbonation. Alas, I fear that this beer is showing its age. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
