Jul 1, 2004 On tap at RFD Washington, D.C. I must have had a bad batch. Deep copper color with absolutely no head! Not much from the nose except some hops, a hint of alcohol, and some roastiness. Bitter flavor. Kind of salty maybe. But aside from that just not that impressive. I’ll have to have this again to be sure.

Jun 19, 2003 a unique and rather potent barlewywine.
hazy copper with a big sweet malt aroma.
nice biscuit flavor layered with heavy hops. the rsiny hops do impart a slight "saltiness" to the aftertaste.
stong and a good sipping beer.

Jul 29, 2002 Cloudy bronze color with an aroma profile of roasted chocolate. Something f an eisbock?? Smoky chocolate flavor with a well positioned hop bitterness.
