Sour, fruity aroma with a lot of yeasty
characteristics(Brett?). Mild, sweet malt flavor that quickly turns somewhat sour.
Hops kick in on the finish. Only problem I had with this beer was the excessive carbonation which hindered the flavor somewhat. Very drinkable though. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Poured a very hazy brownish-orange. and a huge head with lacing as I drank it down. Aroma is mildly sour with notes of leather, barnyard, and oranges. Flavor starts tangy, lemony but not real sour. A little sweet at the end before it leaves you with a medium bitter/spicy finish. The finish is light and refreshing. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA

Golden.
Aroma of orange, peach, well pronounced noble hops, dry funk, honey, a sense of brett and grass.
Sweet malt, flavor of mainly lemon and peach. Funky, brett character wasn’t as pronounced as I figured it would be. Well hopped and nice tasting. CaptainCougar (5517), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2004 Pours a dark golden with a thick frothy white head. Aroma has some Belgian yeasty notes but gets overcome by an off-smelling citric acidity. Had a nice texture for a while, but kinda thinned as it warmed, giving way to some more of the acidity. Needs to be bolder and more balanced, but has some authentic Belgian taste to it. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 14, 2004 I got a strange smell from this. It smelled like pickles and didn’t taste much different. I don’t know why, but this just was strange. Maybe all the scents were combining at once for me to make something bad. It did have some sweetness to it so I gave it some bonus points. I think I will stick to Lunacy for now until I get to re-try this one. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic
