Commercial Description:
It was made with the able bodies from the PALE ALES (that's the Princeton And Local Environs Ale & Lager Enjoyment Society). Together, we brewed an assertive Pilsner-style lager made with a goodly amount of rye malt. Five varieties of hops were used, including one of the members' Jersey-grown hops.

Bottle courtesy of JHop: Orange amber colored pour with a big white head. Aroma was a little grassy, some spice and pale malt. Flavor had a full malt body to it, lively carbonation, some nice solid floral hops with a nice bitter finish. Very solid brew.

Big thanks to Maniac for sharing this. Just depressing that I’ll never have a chance to try this again. Medium gold, nice head. Great floral aroma with a hint of a citric note. Flavor was a dead-on match to the aroma, nicely balanced malts and hops. Really nice beer. So long, Heavyweight.

Flowery and grassy nose with a sharp hop finish, this is an excellent example of an Americanized pils. Nice quenching finish. A 7.3% session brew. Yeah, maybe. The alchohol hides itself very well.

Huge thanks to maniac for sharing this at the 3rd Richmond Gathering. Light golden body, slightly cloudy. Hops, spices, light fruits in the aroma. Nice smooth body, spicy taste. Clean, hot ending.

Thanks to JHop for sending this out to Richmond. Hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet honey. Sweet light grain flavor with a honey background.

Pours out a nice golden color with a medium sized head, nice lacing. Aroma of hops with some sweet notes. Taste is very nice, complex and not as harsh as some other beers of this style. The rye malt takes some of the edge off and it finishes sweet. Great beer

Clear, medium amber colored on first pour with a fluffy, dense, off-white head that lingers. Great lacing. Aroma is pleasantly malty with hints of earthy/herbal hops. Suprisingly large bodied with a great mouthfeel. A touch peppery/spicey in flavor, nice hop bitterness mixes well. Just a superb beer.
