Commercial Description:
It was made with the able bodies from the PALE ALES (that's the Princeton And Local Environs Ale & Lager Enjoyment Society). Together, we brewed an assertive Pilsner-style lager made with a goodly amount of rye malt. Five varieties of hops were used, including one of the members' Jersey-grown hops.

Bottle DL day: I didn’t take a lot of notes on this for some reason, so a quick run down of what I did have. Slightly murky golden hue and nice frothy head. The aroma is bitter British hops and grassy Continental hops along with biscuity malt. The flavor is smooth and bitter but not aggressive, tasty. The feel is crisp and clean, a good session bier. Overall, a solid brew I would try again.

Bottle... DLD06... Cloudy, golden lager with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Floral, malty aroma with notes of butterscotch and toffee. Lightly sweet and medium bitter. Medium-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Crisp, clean finish. Thanks go out to richlikebeer for sharing the bottle!

The aroma hit me right away as bitter hops. The flavor though turned out to not be so bitter. This was exactly what I picture a pils to be like, that is what it tasted like. A good blend of hops and malts to make a good beer. It poured a beautiful hazy gold that had a cascading white head.

Bottle via DL release party 2006. The beer pours to a very murky straw colored body. The aroma is interestingly floral, lots of noble hops, subtle caramel malts. The flavor is smooth English hops. Nice mouthfeel.

Bottle. Kinda hazy orange and gold pour. Fairly hoppy aroma - floral and peppery and a bit earthy, together with some light caramel malts. Bready caramel malt flavors, with loads more of the floral peppery hops, and a clean finish.

Thin fizzy head from a somewhat vigorous pour. Reduces quickly. Weak aroma with hints of spices and floral hops. Some grassy notes and lemon. Color is a medium golden orange. Flavor is light and crisp with some biscuit malts, a little dry bitternesss from the hops and a definite rye note. Finish is bitter and dry. For some reason I can’t find more to write about this beer. Decent but nothing stands out.

Bottle 1814 from Super Saver, Somervile, NJ. This one pours turbid orangy with aromas of bready malt, citrusy hops, and some floral and spicy hints. The palate is fairly dense and tart, and the flavor is hoppy and citric and on the dry side, and gets drier as it warms. There is some creamy, malty, breadiness at mid-palate. Sort of like a strong lager/impy pils hybrid, this style is unique and recommended.

Poured a hazy golden-orange color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. malty aroma with decent floral and perfumey hop notes. Also earthy and cereal notes. Malty flavor with some floral hop flavor in the middle. Dry with a long bitter finish. Medium to full bodied.
