Commercial Description:
It was made with the able bodies from the PALE ALES (that's the Princeton And Local Environs Ale & Lager Enjoyment Society). Together, we brewed an assertive Pilsner-style lager made with a goodly amount of rye malt. Five varieties of hops were used, including one of the members' Jersey-grown hops.

Pours hazy hay with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is of mildly grassy, spicy hops with a smooth graininess. Flavor is grainy, creamy, with a nice german spicy hop bite in the finish. Medium body with a very creamy palate. Very nice and very drinkable.

750mL bottle, courtesy of Schutzenliesel. Pours a murky, orange-grapefruit color; off-white head with patchy, mixed-bubbled lacing. Pleasant yeast character, mineral bitterness, and complex, salty maltiness in the aroma; esters, yellow fruits, and some herbal notes. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of lively citrus, esters, complex yeast, and herbal character; very interesting, intricate chewy rye and fluffy maltiness; very soft feel in the mouth; reasonably tasty stuff; I haven’t had this young, but tastes pretty good from an imperial pils with a load of age behind it. Medium finish: breadiness, toasty malts, and rye.

750 ml bottle shared by Bockyhorsey - Pours a hazy golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is light grain (corn) and faint citrus. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt and light citrus. Medium body. This beer was quite nice for a lager almost 2 years old. Would have been nice to try it when released. Thanks for bringing this one Bill. A good beer.

Bottle courtesy of Dorwart. Aroma had a soapy oror along with pale fruity there also on the nose. Hazy gold body with white head. Flavor had a spicey and lemon citrus along with some light to medium bitterness. Mellow beer and smooth on the palate. Decent beer but may be showing its age and losing some zip but what do I know it was good

(750ml bottle, thanks willblake) Off-white head, lightly hazed straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, apricot, faint earthy. Taste is medium sweet, floral, earthy/herb, light bread. Smooth light-medium body. Held up very well given its age.
