| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 24, 2004 Easy drinking and crisp. The spice is nice, the aftertaste is not a waste, like the bitter rind of grapefruit. . jgb9348 (2511), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Clear blonde body with some subtle orange highlights and a nice thin white head. Aroma of strong gin (beefeater)-from the juniper berries, dirt and some strong earthyness. Light-bodied; Dirt, pale malt in the taste-nothing real special nor strong. Overall, too plain and too floral to be a great beer. I sampled this 75 cL bottle at the November RB party at Founder’s in Alexandria, Virginia on 20-November-2004. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 12, 2004 These beers brewed in a traditional style are invariably interesting, but I rarely find them entirely successful. hazy gold colour. Very herbal and vegetal, with some citric tang. Perfectly drinkable, but not really enough going on to maintain the interest. Bottled at the DC gathering.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Bottle pours orange tinted yellow, slightly cloudy, large white frothy head, super sticky lacing, with miniscule carbonation. Extreme floral aroma, probably the most intense I have ever smelled. Slightly sweet and buttery as well, with hints of mountain berries.. Well balanced floral flavor, appropriately sweetened, with gooseberry/blueberry like fruity flavor. Perhaps its Juniper berries? Medium in body, but solid, with a medium to light mouthfeel. Finishes fairly strong, clean and crisp. Lingering floral and Juniper flavors. Definitely unique, and tasty too!. Thanks goes out to Eyedrinkale for the trade!

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2004 Had this at the DC/MD/VA/WV/PA gathering. Bottled courtesy of Eyedrinkale. Hazed gold with a small white head. Nose is odd. It’s juniper, I guess. Having not smelled it before and being under the impression that this makes up the beer, I have to assume that’s what it is. Also, there’s more plant life going on here. Flowery and earthy at the same time. taste is mildy plat-like and earthy with a strong vegetal hint. This is very different from anything I’ve ever taste. There’s some medical and herbal notes and an odd sweetness. Body is medium to light and at times borders on thin. Finish is more juniper and flower along with some earthy tones. Odd beer, but Heavyweight should be commended for trying this!
