Aroma of citrus and spice. Flavor is strong citrus and spice and some funkyness that I can’t identify and do not like. Interesting but not for me.

The aroma and flavor are a morph of peach and apricot. Watery and thin. Light-bodied and fizzy. Dry finish. Not a fan of the style. Sahti is it?

Sampled at the DC/MD/VA/WV/PA Ratebeer Gathering 11/20/04. Cloudy golden. Aroma has notes of juniper and fruits. Tastes very earthy, grassy with some tart lemon qualities. Watery, thin mouthfeel. Interesting.

Bottle @ the VA/DC/MD gathering: Hazy golden yellow, white head. Aroma: juniper, vegitable, earth, lemon, berry. Taste has juniper, vegitables, lemon, some malt, and is very crisp. Been wanting to try this style for a long time, thanks to whoever brought this one.

Smells like, not surprisingly, juniper berries. Taste is of juniper and flowers up front, but drops off quickly. Needs some more malt.

DC/MD/VA gathering. Hazed gold, small white head. Nose was very interesting with notes of flowers and damp earth, with some light lemony spices. The only way to describe the taste is dirt----straight up---dirt. It’s all good though. Just a hard time describing it. Medium bodied, dry sweet finish. A+ for being different, but not a big fan personally.....

2004 draught @ BBF. Following up another spiced beer (Offshore Rye Not) with this proved to be a great comparison. This one was much more balanced with what seems a big sweet gale and rosemary body, mixed with a lightly sweet malt. Dull pale yellow, small white head, mostly cloudy. Light fruit notes mix with a dose of alcohol. Not overly astringent, and not overly sweet, I like it, but I would like to see some more yeast apparency. Smells very herbalesque, with spicy yeast notes, almost like a trippel.
