Commercial Description:
Lunacy is brewed exclusively with Belgian Pilsner malt, Styrian and English Goldings hops and freshly ground coriander. It begins its life with a long patient boil and is cast into the fermenter at 17.5 P. It then undergoes a vigorous fermentation and extended cold conditioning. After bottling, the beer receives an additional 2 week warm rest before it is released. This yields a surprisingly refreshing brew with spicy notes, sweet malt and subtle fruit.

Harvest moon colours reveal a waterfall of yeast and spice. Dive in and discover a smooth, slightly thin pool of citrus and banana. As you emerge you find you dry off fairly quickly in the cool night air....

Cloudy gold, constant carbonation. Thin white head. Yeasty, bready aroma. Sweetish, mellow toasty spicy flavors throughout. Hints of maybe cinnamon , too. Slightly tart hop presence. Slight alcohol burn, then a crisp dry finish. Thanks to Springslicker for this one!

Pours turbid dark straw with medium, fizzy, white head. Aroma of malt, hopcit, candi sugar. Tastes hoppy, citrusy, witty, with a slightly dry, citrus finish. Medium palate, with a smooth finish. As usual, a great beer from Heavyweight, and another great one from Tom Baker and his gang.

Hazy gold color with a medium head. Very rich fruit flavor with caramel-soaked bananas. The taste was very much like the aroma. Sweet and fruity with some malts to back it up. Mighty tasty!
