Commercial Description:
Lunacy is brewed exclusively with Belgian Pilsner malt, Styrian and English Goldings hops and freshly ground coriander. It begins its life with a long patient boil and is cast into the fermenter at 17.5 P. It then undergoes a vigorous fermentation and extended cold conditioning. After bottling, the beer receives an additional 2 week warm rest before it is released. This yields a surprisingly refreshing brew with spicy notes, sweet malt and subtle fruit.

Draught: Aroma of pepper, coriander, hops, citrus orange, and lemon. Poured golden/orange in color with a small white head. Good lacing. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor og hops, honey, alcohol, pine, light spice, and graham crackers. Medium body. Medium-sticky, tingly texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sweet graham finish.

Recieved in a trade thanks to Dickinsonbeer, thanks paul for the 12oz bottle. It pours a cloudy orange color with a decent head that fades just as quick as you pour the beer. The aroma is very sour like with lemon grass and some fruits mainly orange peel and some minor apricot. As the beer warms up and you take your first sip it is very strong sour orange and other fruits fig and hints of apple and blackberry, there is also some spice to like coriander and some all spice. Even though the flavor is nice the palate lacks since the flavors do not last long and fade rather quick.

Bottle. Pleasant aroma of caramel malt, fruit, and some sourness; a little reminiscent of a barleywine. Low carbonation. The flavor is slightly sour with some "muted" caramel malt. Likely that this was better when new.

Had at Logan’s Oceanside beer tasting with AlohaC, and Hair, and Matt, and Ken, and Bill, and others. Bottle from alohaC, I think. Cloudy amber color. A little corriander. Nice easy to drink.

Bottle procured while in New York; poured an orange-gold; white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, fruit, and a general tartness. Flavor may be a bit past its prime. Beer was tart with some rather muted flavors. Flavor of belgian yeast, spice, citrus and fruit. Really a mediocre brew, but not overtly bad.

The bottle exploded when opened! They sat in my fridge for three hours untouched and one of the bottles was so excited it dumped itself on my counter. Decent tasting, not my favorite, worth the experience.

Draught. Golden colored, hazy. Citrusy aroma, tart fruity. Fruity, tart, wheaty. Too much acidic bite.
