| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2006 Dark, dark color with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and maybe licorice. Taste is complex-coffee, chocolate, malts, molasses. Body is a bit thin for a Baltic porter. A fine beer nonetheless. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark

Black as tar. But unfortunately not same texture as tar. The beer’s texture is too thin. Taste is dominated by coffee and toffee notes. An good Baltic Porter though. JensenTaster (1588), Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2006 (on bottle thanx Rasmus) Very black, white trim and a small beige head. No aroma? I try again, but no, there is actually no aroma to this beer. I try again, shaking the glass violently, a get a hint of roast, weird. Very smooth, coffeeish taste, with a waterish finish, just like the baltic porter should be. Could drink dangerously large quantaties of this. bombshelter (349), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 23, 2006 bottle from chevy chase liquors. aroma is huge: funky, coffee, caramel, acid? black, low carbonation. flavor is decidedly sour...i think this one sat too long on the shelf, or else was sour from the beginning. Just plain not good. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2006 bottle courtesy of kramer17801. This is the third bottle I’v had in my time on the site, and the first to not taste infected. Dark brown with light beige head. Aroma rather muted coffe and dark fruits. Initial flavor is all dark fruit, grape/plums with faint chocolate through the middle and bitter coffee in the finish. mrnutsnbolts (204), Berkeley, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Bottle. Thick, black, with a small coffee colored head. Huge coffee aroma with some ripe fruit, chocoalte, and alcohol. Slightly acidic, chocolatey (more towards the finish), ripe fruit (plums, raisins?), alcohol, and a little bit of coffee. Smooth with a slightly alcholic warming burn. kramer (2482), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2006 12 oz bottle, 2002 vintage consumed 01/11/06. Black pour with a minimal head, dark brown in color, that fades to a thin ring quickly. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Espresso nose with notes of soy, light alcohol, raisins, and dark fruits. Slightly lactic flavor with significant amounts of oxidation. Some soy and smokiness peeking through, especially in the finish. Zero remnants of hops remains. This has lost alot of its body as well as most of the carbonation initially present. I really thought that this would age well as I’ve had good success with a few other Baltic Porters, but sadly it has not. Good thing I’m down to 2 bottles. Gonna still pick up another case when I have the chance, but I think I’ll drink it alot faster. TomDecapolis (3202), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2006 Bottle calls this one an Imperial Porter. Pours a dark black that poured with a small dark tan head and went away to nothing very quickly. Literallly no head. Aroma if a caramel sweetness with some roasty malts and dark fruits. Flavors of the same with some molasses and smoke. Like a sweet coffee with slight hints of chocolate.
