Commercial Description:
This one was inspired by Fantome's Black Ghost and Pizza Port's SPF8. It's deep brown in color and the combination of roast and tropical fruit flavors are strange but effective. It's hopped with English Goldings and Saaz and fermented with three Belgian yeast strains. ~6% Brewed: Feb.17 Bottled:

Thanks ucusty for sharing. Pours a dark brown with a fizzy tan head. The nose is earhty, grainy, some yeast, tad spicy, oxidized, cardboard. The flavor is oxidized as well, aged feel, earthy, caramel, tad yeasty. Wish I could have had this one fresh as well.

I was really worried when I popped this bottle. Yeasty sediment all over my hand Yuk! Looked like a mess inside a diaper. Dark brown pour with a brown colored head and some spotty lace. Yeasty aroma along with some slight roast. Fruity flavor up front with sweet malt and yeasty finish. I totally thought this would show some signs of oxidation, but it really didnt. Decent but not as good as the golden

750 ml bottle with a big thanks going to willblake for this hook up, thanks again!! Pours a watery pitch black body with some clinging large bubbles and a large mocha colored bubbly head. Aroma has lots of sour vinegar notes, cherry juice notes leading to some nice tartness and to a lesser extent chocolate lending to some sweetness. Medium to full bodied with lots of bubbly carbonation and a touch of foaminess as it hits your mouth. Flavor Very tart and sour start with some vinegar and fruit but the finish is chocolate and brown bread. Wow I can’t believe it’s 2009 and I’m still scoring some Heavyweight beers, plus this one is still drinking great!!!

Dark like a porter, but not thick. Super carbonated. Fluffy off-white head. Smell is sweet and sour, with even a hint of soy sauce. Also some malty chocolate flavors on the nose. Big fruity burst in the mouth. The malts come out as a secondary flavor. Very good. Shared at AlohaCs tasting. Thanks to TheRealBastard for trading with me for this bottle. I really liked this beer.

Thank you Juart for sharing. Aroma is a little bit funky. Sweet brown sugar with a slight carbonic note. Smells like a sweet stout. The flavor is dry and roasted with a fruity funk to it. It is dark brown / black in clor with a medium tan head. A heavy bitter artificial chocolate taste. The finish is a little sour. A pretty light body, despite the appearance. Leaves a roasted flavor in the mouth. Only real problem is that it looks like someone crapped on the mouth of the bottle.

750 ml bottle via trade - I drank this bottle last May. Pours a hazy brown color with a small light tan head. Very light lacing. Aroma is faint hops and esters. Flavor is much of the same. The finish is a little tart for my liking. Medium body. Another beer I would have liked to have tried fresh. A pretty good beer.

Bottle Chris O’s. Caramel dark malts some sourish tones but nothing to overpowering. Flavour is brown sugar, fruity with slight funky wet dog character. Quite like a porter.
