Commercial Description:
This one was inspired by Fantome's Black Ghost and Pizza Port's SPF8. It's deep brown in color and the combination of roast and tropical fruit flavors are strange but effective. It's hopped with English Goldings and Saaz and fermented with three Belgian yeast strains. ~6% Brewed: Feb.17 Bottled:

CL RB gathering. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is sour and funky with hotes of spices, chocolate, and caramel malts. Taste is about the same, with a spicy and lightly sour finish. interesting saison for sure.

Shared by nolonkowal at the last Columbus tasting. Pours black with a nice tan head. The aroma was sour, and slightly funky. Palate was highly carbonated wiht a light mouthfeel. The taste was very earthy--with lots of anice and roasted coffee flavors as well. A slight sour taste makes this very intriguing.

Blind rating, American Beer Tastings at Sk8viking´s. Pours a dark brown with a greyish-beige head. Smells sour. Sour with a mellow sweetness. Notes of berries, currants. Quite a lot of smoke. Also some oak?. Quite spicy.

Bottle at the CTV3. Poured dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma was a bit sour with some grape juice and sweet malt. The flavor had a sour-grape front with some burnt malt coming in and through the finish. Light over the tounge...malty, sour with a dry finish. Interesting to say the least.

C.T 3.0- This one threw me for a loop. Looked nice and super dark with a white bubbly head but smelled like sourdough bread. Pretty carbonated, which accented the sourness that hit my tongue right off and made me think "eh.". But that quickly faded and tons of oaky vanilla and darkly roasted coffee beans came through and won the day. Wonderfully complex and it only got better with each drink!

Bottle shared by nolankowal: Dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma, sour with a rich maltiness, some fruits. Flavor, tart and sweet, with a roasty almost burnt malt to it. Pretty good stuff.

Very dark allmost black with a little head. Sour aroma with some cherry notes. Also sour and acid flavour with notes of roastedness.

Deep reddish, brown colour with a small tan head. Malty aroma with a light tart fruity note and hints of yeast. Light roasted malty flavor, again with this light tart fruityness and a dry bitter finish.
