Commercial Description:
This one was inspired by Fantome's Black Ghost and Pizza Port's SPF8. It's deep brown in color and the combination of roast and tropical fruit flavors are strange but effective. It's hopped with English Goldings and Saaz and fermented with three Belgian yeast strains. ~6% Brewed: Feb.17 Bottled:

A very dark brown beer with a red shine underneath a fast disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet but also with a hint of acidity and notes of wood, prunes, and caramel - reminds me a bit of a Flemmish Sour. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of prunes, and lesser notes of wood and caramel, leading to a dry woody end.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, dark brown with a small, light brown head. Lightly tart, fruity and vinous aroma. Medium body with sourish notes of overripe - and dried - fruits. Vinous and quite delicate. A light tartness lingers all through the finish but without any confronting bitterness. 061006

(1-14-06, 750ml bottle) A gusher on opening -- reveals a black body with tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, cherry, yeast, light roast -- almost cherry PopTart, very little sourness. Taste is moderately sweet, cherry, some yeast, light chocolate. Light body with some effervescence. (7/3/7/3/14)

(7-4-05, draft) Creamy tan head with a clear red-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, fruity (cherry), herb, yeast, sour. Taste is Medium sweet, cherry, sour, herb in the finish. Creamy, light-medium body. Weird flavors/aromas, and I am not totally sold on it. (5/3/5/3/10)
