May 13, 2005 750 thanks to willblake. pours with an incredible amount of head, but a lightly spicy and yeasty aroma that is quite mild. not overly funky, in fact quite soft and malty with some flowery european hops. very enjoyable.

May 10, 2005 Special thanks to jimmack04 for sending me this gem. Cloudy golden with an orange hue and a dense creamy white layer of frothy head. Wonderful yeast in the aroma with spicy notes and fruit. Nice funky Saison like aromas and faint floral hops which are nice. Creamy palate with a nice fizzy, lively mouthfeel. Light sourness in flavor. Sour fruit, spices, yeast overall one really nice brew.

Apr 30, 2005 Poured a hazy golden color with a large, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, citrus fruits, barnyard, and hops. Bready, lightly tart lemon and other citrus tastes, with a dry, hoppy, bitter finish.

Apr 24, 2005 Pours a light hazy straw color. Aroma is lemon and straw/bread. Flavor is similar with lemons, dusty funk and other citrus notes. Palate is a dry finish, overall not bad. Thanks to WillBlake for this one!

Apr 23, 2005 Has all the qualities a good saison should have - a wonderful musty, earthy, barnyardy beer - tart but not mouth-puckering - grainy with mild hops - lighter fruits, mostly pear and lemon - might age well.

Apr 22, 2005 on tap at the blind tiger NYC, on a sparkly spring day! cloudy tannish gold color. short whitish head. aroma is lemony, slightly funky, yeasty, peachy. tangy flavor, some yeast, stone fruit. clean tangy finish. slightly peppery and spicy. made my weekend!

Apr 21, 2005 Pours golden, quite heady. Citrus fruit (subtle tangerine) notes. Carbonation tingles at first, but turns creamy smooth. A bit dry tasting, lingering perfume. Lots going on in this bottle, perfect for warm months, even better to share!
