Bottled. Poured sexy, medium coppery-brown with a fluffy cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up an impressive dosage of hops, considering the age.. light fruity (slightly sour) and bready notes hit first, with candied toffee and caramel backing it up.. intriguing and very enjoyable blend on the nose. The flavor had sweet light-to-medium bodied fruits and toasty, aged caramel at the core, with light herbal and floral bitterness surrounding.. maintained a bunch of its hoppage, but it likely had a lot more going on initially. Medium-bodied with nice sweet and spicy contrasts.. warm finish with plenty of residual spices. I really enjoyed this.

Pours a fairly clear orange, with a small white head. Smells of decent-to-mild hops. Not as hoppy as i was expecting. Alot of citrus in the aroma, with some light funk as well. The flavor was fairly sweet on the citrus, seemingly its most dominant character. The hops were there for moral support, and the funk was almost nonexistent. Not sure if it was just the bottles age, or thats how it is supposed to be. Still was drinkable and not bad, but not what I was expecting.

Tampa RB Gathering Beer #4....golden dark peach body, small white head that resolves to a ring of foam....nose of spicy floral hops, slight malt backbone, caramel, flowers and citrus fruits....flavor is heavy on the hops, with a small amount of yeast coming in....medium bodied, dry palate....finish medium length and uneventful

750 from my Secret Santa - thanks, Santa! I figured I would drink this right away, as this one is likely on the decline. And after enjoying it, I imagine that was a good decision. Its base characteristic is a nicely tart yeast strain, that comes through ripe and full. But the trace elements of spice and hops have surely abated a bit over time. Still very enjoyable, and I’m thrilled to be able to sample this.

Pouirs cloudy gold, with a fairly large white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, fruit, and yeast. Flavor is slightly bitter hops, some fruit, and spices. Still pretty good, but probably past it’s prime. Thanks to footbalm for this bottle.
