Aroma is slightly hoppy with some other spices comming out and posibly showing its a bit past its prime. Even still, the taste was very nice It was yeasty with the spices and some hops towards the end but not nearly as much as I thought it would be. Pretty good still although I have no idea how old this thing is. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Bottle that Garrett (rayg1) brought to our brew night. Thanks. Pours out an orange color with a thick white head. Smell is some hops, spices, yeast, bread, and some grains. Taste is sweet and yet not really too hoppy. Smooth and interesting, but the bottom of the bottle pour is rather thick. 2 Samples for each of us, and we both agreed that as it was colder it was better. Not a bad beer, but its not a dupont. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Pours a hazy medium to light amber/coppery with a nice fluffy sticky lasting head and forms a nice light beige cloud island in the middle after some seddling- good lace- body has yeast and hop sediment. Aroma is lightly spicy and peppery phenolic, a wierd artificia sweetness, cinnamon spice- after warming a bit, some slight papery oxidation and a bit fruity. Taste is ligthly papery with some light crackery grainy malts, phenolic, yeasty, doughy, not as hoppy as expected, but has a light dry hoppy bitterness in the end. Light mouthfeel and finishes off slightly astringent. Still pretty nice- surprised this is still holding up ok. KidA (19), Morristown, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Temporary fish egg bubble head. Dense lemon and orange effect on your olfactory. Chewy and hoppy with just a little citrus sour built off a strong malt base. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2006 Pours a lightly hazy golden copper with a medium bubbly/creamy white head that left lacing and did a decent job of sustaining. Aroma is very fruity with hints of citrus and tropical fruits, Belgian yeast, bread, a peppery spiciness, some caramel malt hidden in there and citrus from the hops. Flavor is lemon, very dry, bready lightly bitter and spicy. The yeast comes through a bit but not as much as the fruit as I’m getting from the aroma. nolankowal (855), Columbus, Ohio, USA
