750ml bottle. clear golden/orange color with slight funky aroma. I took the 1st sip and thought that it was thin a mildly flavorfull. After a couple more sips I realized the beauty of this beer. Clean lemon taste with dry finish. Very refreashing.

Bottle: Shared by nolankowal: Orange gold pour, witha medium white head. Aroma, spicy, some citrus, and yeast. Flavor, bready, citrus, and a little mossy. Dry finish, interesting if nothing else.

Light brown color, small head with a nice lacing. I found this beer in a not so good way sour, not tooo hoppy. Dry finish. I liked the Spicey version much better.

750 mil bottle at Columbus 2.0 tasting brought by nolankowal - Thanks! - Pours golden with a short white head that stays pretty well and laces some. Nice aroma of bread, yeast, some light spice, and some citrus hops. Flavor is bread, yeast, citrus hops, and a touch of spice. Medium bodied with a somewhat dry finish.

Thanks illinismitty. Pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour with notes of lemon grass and spice. The flavor is slightly sweet and sour with a note of lemon to start then turns bitter and peppery. Medium bodied and slightly dry.

This bottle came to me from the awesome illinismitty!! We were a little concerned about rating the beer being that the bottle has leaked in transit but damn, the leak didn’t do anything to affect the flavor, carbonation or enjoyment of this beer! Pours a clear golden color with a medium head and a little bit of lacing Aroma is grassy and smooth. Flavor is grassy and slightly bitter with a very mild hop profile coming through at the end. Very smooth and slightly bubbly on the palate. Thanks again Sean!!!

25 oz bottle, tasted next to Spicy. Pours a dark gold colored body with a slight yeast haze under a large foamy head that lasted forever. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is lightly funky with some fruity yeast and a very light hoppiness. A little mustiness as well. Flavor is farmhouse funk with a little hoppiness, quite yeasty and dry on the finish. Mouthfeel is creamy in texture with lively but very soft carbonation. Very nice mouthfeel. Overall, full flavored and quite a refreshing summer sipper. One of the better Heavyweight’s I’ve had.

An unclear dark orange with an off white head. The aroma is very sweet with a light buttery touch. The flavor is buttery and caramelic, but also with light hoppy notes.
