Peppery for sure. Thanks to Lou18 for the sample. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Bottle courtesy of Mullman. Murky golden-orange in color, with white head made of tiny bubbles. Musty-yeasty aroma with lemon-like flower hop character, orange zest and maybe some pepper. Flavor again was very floral with zesty fruit, slight sourness through the middle. Finish hsa a nice combo of pepper and hops. Very well done. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA

Poured a cloudy effervescent amber with a large fizzy off-white head. Fruity sweet aroma with coriander and apples. Light acidic flavor with some lemon and some piney hops, fizzy body. Clean and light, this would make a nice lawnmower beer. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Proving time and again that great things often come in small packages. The 2nd Saison de la Soeur variation I have had, and just as good as the other. Saisons rule. Heavyweight rules. New Jersey Rules. (sorry bizniz, nice apartment) tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Bottle: Courtesy of JCW. Yeasty aroma with hints of fruity tartness and flowery hoppiness. Pours a hazy dull orange with a soapy white head. Yeasty up front with light tartness. Finishes with a spicy floral hoppiness. I would say this is spicier than the Saison de la Soeur Spicy. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Fourth and final heavyweight Saison of the night. What a great opportunity. I would like to thank my buddy Ben for bringing so much back from NJ. I got him some Schlafly for the return trip. Anyway...Hazy, with fair sized sediment, and an amber hue. Lacy white head. Citrus hops. Bready banana yeast. Pine and citrus flavors with a light malt roast. Great hop character and full bodied. This was a toss up, but I gave it the silver for the Saison line.
