750ml bottle thanks to andrew for sharing at the latest installment of the Pantanap tastings.... poured a hazy orange brown with a nice soapy milky white head.... aroma of cheesy funk and citrus fruit. really interesting..... flavors of fruit and mild spices. carbonation was light but better than that of the hoppy. creamy mouthfeel which also helped the beer out....

750ml Bottle Pours out a hazy brown/orange topped with a nice sand head. A nice aroma of spice, yeast and malt. Tast of more spice and malt. Not all that Saison feel still around. But hey it was still preety tasty. A big thanks to Footbalm for this treat.

Bottle shared by footbalm. Pours a cloudy orange with a nice off-white head. The aroma is mostly malt and earthy aspects, kinda like a German double bock. Some spices, along with a fairly dry malt dominate the flavor. Also, some sourness, but not much. I wonder what this was like years ago? We shall never know.

Bottle: A muddy caramel color under a well-built mound of beige head. Nose full of yeasty esters and barnyard fun, very peppery and spicy, lots of apricot, grass, bread and aged hops. Tangy yeast notes on the palate with a spritsy/lively mouthfeel. More bread and dough character in the flavor with more dried fruit and yeast notes. Excellent tanginess and character. It’s like a so-so dancer with an amazing outfit. Lots of flair on top of a decent base. I like it! Thanks to footbalm for bringing this one up for me to try from SLC; I owe you one!

750ml bottle, thanks to theisti for this rarity. Interesting aroma, unfamiliar, yet welcoming, with notes of mead(!), tea leaves, grass, bready malts, and some faint dried fruits and spices. Cloudy amber-brown color, head is varying in consistency. Flavor is unique, ion my experience anyway, with golden raisin, cider, herbal hops, tobacco, honey, fading sourness at the back and yes, spice, particularly towards the finish. Bittersweet. Medium body, mouthfeel is smooth and lightly effervescent. Really like nothing I’ve had, but it was enjoyable. Heavyweight, we hardly knew ye.

Bottle shared by theisti at his tasting 10/12. Pours a cloudy iced tea orange/brown with a thin beige head. The aroma smells like an aged mead (perhaps in the vein of Kasztelanski Miód Trójniak) with a sour backbone, light caramel and white pepper notes. Medium-bodied with very soft, almost flat, carbonation it finishes clean and lightly dry. Wheaty, slightly sour citrus, with caramel, apples and faint white pepper notes. I have to think that this was quite nice when it was young, but the lack of carbonation was a big detractor overall. Thanks for sharing this with us Tim.

750ml from beastiefan2k enjoyed at my tasting 10/12. Pour is clear orange - yellow with pretty much no head. Aroma of cane sugar sweetness and not too much else. Taste does not have hardly any of the sweetness with a nice yeast spiciness and finishes with some peppery spice. Maybe a bit over the hill, but still a nice one. Thanks for sharing this retired gem, Eugene.
