pours golden amber with a nice creamy head. smells malts, butterscotch, caramel, fruits, berries, grass. quite an odd mixture. tastes lemony, carmel and malts, and finishes with a grassy hop bitterness. a well balanced and strange beer.

25.4 oz bottle. Cloudy amber brown with a white splotchy head. Spicy wet hay. Medium carb with some funky lemon peel, honey and almond. Light drying and pepper tang. Flavors are mild and subdued but not watery. Breezy with soft carb.

Orange/gold, with a tan head. Aroma is caramel, spices, and citrus. Flavor is fruit, spices, caramel, and malt. A bit low on carbonation. Good, but nothing really stands out about this one.

Poured a very cloudy orange color with okay head good lacing. Aroma was of citrus and very peppery. Flavor was stronger citrus then i expected and a sour flavor with i am unsure about.

Murky mud orange color with a good initial head, very nice lacing, concave up wavy rings. The aroma was peppery, some citrus, some caramel. The flavor was citrus, sour caramel (many a HW beer does this), brown sugar, pepper. Mouthfeel was thin to moderate. Thanks to Eric for this opportunity!

Moderate off-white head with somewhat dark amber and copper body. Aroma is slightly spicy and slightly fruity. Flavor is mostly spice, cinnamon and pepper, with citrus hints. Quite a bit more enjoyable than Golden.

golden brown/amber colored (i didn’t think it was red/orange enough for the kidney assessment). smelled like brown sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, prunes. tasted like celery, pine, malt, yeast, grapeskins, pare. alcohol was pretty apparent.

Bottle shared with lukin, feedmecookies. This looks like "urine after two punches to the kidneys."

Aroma: licorice, anise, cinnamon, bready, brown sugar. Flavor: lemon, orange, bitter, dominant licorice, soapy. Kind of harsh.
