Bottle: Dirty caramel, pillowy white head, spotty lacing, thick.   Cola and honeydew melon on the nose, some butterscotch and caramel as well.   Bready caramel on the tongue, yeasty, semi-sweet.   Not floral like other saisons, nor spicy like the label suggests.   Dull bunt cake flavor as well.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with a bit of basement... slightly musty.   Its an oddball, but fairly decent.   Thanks Steve!

Doughy floral nose with touches of herbs and caramel. Sweeth and mildy thick in the mouth wiht a fin carbonation. More dough with honeysuckle, flowers, and a slight herbal bitterness. Anise and gardinia come into play as it warms with a little alcohol. Finishes sweet and floral..

Murky brown, champagne head. Nose has caramel, nutmeg, pumpkin spice. Flavor is caramel, yeast, lemon, funk. Maybe a hint of wood. Bittersweet saison finish. Not too shabby.

4.16.06 Another great variation in the saison from the sisters line. Definitely spicy. Pretty awesomely spicy. Otherwise same as the others in this series (which is to say good)

Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a very hazy light brown body with a fizzy looking white head. The aroma is caramel and nougat. The flavor is black pepper, cardamom?, interestingly spicy. Caramel and nougat malts. Lemons. The body is medium-light bodied.

Slightly murky copper. Creamy white head. Aroma has orange, sweet spice, maybe some cinnamon. Sweet spicey flavor... almost awkwardly spiced.

pours a slightly dark golden color a touch of haze and a big white head well laced made of small bubbled. Aroma doesn’t really have a spice presence that I expected. a lightly spiced hop aroma some lemon grass and yeast notes. Palate is fairly light some good coating. Flavor is extremly mild no sour notes to speak of (not what i expected w/ a saison) some light spicings, corriander and allspice come through. A very light sweet component that reminds me of honey a bit. Decent brew, but nothing that special.

Thanks to Dave for the sample! Has a decent aroma, piney and citrusy. Nice cloudy golden brown body and a thin white head. Flavor is mild, slighty hoppy and spicy. Decent body and carbonation. Overall, this is pretty nice.
