Bottle. Sweet and malty, typical Marzen. Some grassy hopes in the finish, with some slight apricoty fruit in there. Very drinkable stuff.

The color is warm golden and the head is huge, nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, flower and light citrus. It’s a smooth and pleasant märzen.

(bottle, bought at Vogels Getränkemarkt, Forchheim) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet, slightly cara-malty nose with a subtle fruitiness, backed by shades of herbal hops. Medium-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly chalky and nutty taste; medium-dry, slightly bitter finish with light notes of herbal hops.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy orangey brown with a handsome, off-white head. Caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly flat with a distinct sweet - almost nougatish - caramel flavour. Very soft mouthfeel and only hints of hops in the finish. 121106
