| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bomber...big thick viscous wave of an IPA. Bitter and grapefruit like with the rye influence makes this a dynamic beer. Reddish color with caramel color head. Strong! Would not drink everyday but would definitely get again. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bottle. Deep red amber with a creamy offwhite head. Complex citrussy and bready aromas with a spicy note. Good hoppy flavours, but the sharp citrussy hop attack is balanced by bready and spicy malts flavours. Still very bitter. Well-carbonated. Special double IPA. radiomgb (2068), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Orange-amber in colour with a long lasting white head, awesome lacing. The aroma is of powerful hops, moderately sweet, some alcohol and a little bready. The flavour is again quite hoppy, lots of grapefruit, some rye bitterness, moderate alcohol. Highly hoppy mouthfeel, medium/large body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy, warming.
This is as hoppy as any other IIPA I have had. Seems to last forever in the finish but wasn’t getting a whole ton of rye, not that I am complaining.
650ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Bomber - pours a deep amber with a small foamy head. Smells of sweet malt. Taste starts out malty with a lot of rye, then a blast of hops hits and sits on the back of the tongue throughout the finish. Pretty light body. A good beer, but a the balance wasn’t there--it was just in your face with malt and hops. Maverick34 (716), New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Bottled. Thick syrupy, the rye is predominant. Finishes with hops. Alcohol too prominent in this one.
