Pours deep reddish amber, with a nice, lasting off-white head. Very sweet, bready aroma with lots of sticky hops. Extremely full flavor, rich in malt base layered with sticky, resiny hops, woodsy, bourbony notes and a long-lasting dry finish. Full bodied, smooth, warming; moderately carbonated. Seems more than a DIPA...almost into strong ale/barleywine classification. A real treat.

Tap at Barcade: Deep amber pour topped by a dense off-white ring for head. Sweet aroma. Evident rye and candied malt character, some piny hops notes, a touch of mint and candied peach. Dense body, slightly cloying. Has a rich flavor with lots of sticky rye character along with resiny/piny hops. The finish is long and dry with a hint of minty character. It’s rich and dense but homogeneous. Goes from rich and sweet to a harsh bitterness. Not much underlying character in this big IIPA.

Reddish hued beer with a sticky beige head. Melted caramel and hop nose. Toffee sweetness, with hot hops, grafepfruit rind, oragne juice, apricot, and raisen flavors. Long, thick, sticky hop resin, citrus bitterness in the finish. Nice hop head brew. The ABV is well hidden in this one.

Pours a deep copper with a medium creamy off-white head that leaves some nice lacing. Sweet hoppy citrus aroma. Sweet and spicy hop flavor. Nice balance of malt and hops. Thick palate. Slightly bitter finish. Very good.

Split 22 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear reddish amber with lasting head and lace. Spice Hop and yeast aroma. Malty brown sugar caramel rye with ripe fruit and medium hop citrus and pine bitterness lingers. Very full body and medium-low carbo. Nice mouthfeel nice beer. Well-disguised alcohol.

Clear copper kettle color with a nice off white head. Great smell of piney hops with a bit of roasted dark grain malts, rye i suppose. Light/medium body and smooth. Taste is a nice mesh of fresh pine forest and spicy hops and roasty grainy rye malts. Another unique beer from HeBrew. 1.15.2007
