Bomber from Int’l Market. Amber with tall, stiff tan head which persists and belies the light carbonation. Aroma is cheesy, but that doesn’t last long after the first taste. Rye malt adds spice to the somewhat salty body which fades into heavy grapefruit hops at the finish.

Bomber from Archer Liquors. Poured a copper amber-orange color with a nice off-white head, solid lacing. The aroma was resinous, rich malty, some alcohol. The flavor was sharply bitter, pretty good job of getting there in a dIPA with the extra malt, some caramel, some citrus rinds.

Bottle in Brooklyn. Nice amber body with proud white head. Nice nose of caramel and fruits. Well-bodied. Lots of malts flavours, some caramel. Hop in there too. Nice balance. Strong ABV noticeable. Warms towards the end. Nice and sweet, like Lenny.

Bottle Pours a hazy amber with a good off white head. The head is creamy and lasts well. Laces very well. Has a good aroma of suprisingly hops, caramel, fruits, some hops and rye. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is good more malty than hoppy but it works. Very smooth. A good DIPA for the ones who don’t like the bitterness. Has a medium body but the alcohol could hit you. Has a sticky texture. The finish is good and a pleasing aftertaste. Not what I expected but still works. Very good.

(bottle) deep amber with almost no head. Sweetish malt and floral hops in the aroma. Slightly viscous mouthfeel, apricot hops, sweet caramel malt, flavors of dark fruit. Didn’t really notice the rye. A big beer, but somehow it doesn’t all come together.

Tap @ The He’Brew Bash at the Blind Tiger NYC. I was fricking wasted by the end so some of these rates might be a bit odd. Rum and raisin caramels and toffee on the nose. Huge hops dissipate to sweetness the a dryness in the throat. Big % is apparent, Very sweet and rich. SOAPY.
