Aroma is nice with some sweet malts and a nice dose of hops. Nothing really fruity. Flavor is again malty but tart with hops making a presence. I really don’t know what pomegranate taste like but im not tasting anyhting out or the ordinary. I would not know this is a fruit beer, more of a decent APA. kwoeltje (1326), Manchester, Missouri, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Long lasting head. heavy lacing. Dark cedar coloured. Moderate hop flavour. Not a frequent sampler of pomegranates so hard to compare their flavour. Overall the beer does have a thinner but nice body with wine-like qualities and a fruit essence. carl4beer (403), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2006 A very creative beverage. I so happen to love Pmegranate juice, and there is a nice tart edge woven into a balanced big ale. I find refreshing to have a ’fruit’ beer that is not overcome by the fruit, but leave it to the drinker to find it. Very enjoyable... theisti (1684), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 16, 2006 Bottle. Amber pour. Normal tan head. Aroma is malty / grainy. The flavor was not nearly as complex as I was expecting considering how much was jammed into this one. I didn’t pick up on the pomegranate at all, just a faint sweetness, and was surprised to see this listed as a fruit beer. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
