This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated caramel brown colored body and thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty and sweet. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Decent head of rather large bubbles. Kind of soda like at first then it settles down. Light carbonation. Nice dense creamy head reappears upon swirling. Fruity aroma. Light cranberry and grape. Little bit of hops and sweet malts. Light and airy aroma. Very clean. Color is a brilliant reddish orange. Malty sweet and fruity flavor with plenty of alcohol presence. Warming in the mouth and hot on the tongue. More hops here with a little caramel malt that become more prominent as the brew warms. Finish is roasty and a little dry and tart. Another very good brew.

Medium Amber color, a dark copper. Very nice off white head. Aroma of fruit juice or punch. With a little aromatic hop. There is a slight tart, but mostly HOPS. Lots and lots of hops. It is very bitter in the finish, you know, the way it should be. In the distant palate, I do see a little pom. There is a faint bitter tartness of the Pomegranate seed. I had to look for it, but it is definitely there. Serious hopheads should appreciate this Brew.

This poured with a dark copper almost amber color and a slightly yellowish head. The aroma was rich with grapefruit and caramel. This smelled a lot like a big IIPA. There was also a hint of cranberries, I assume that was the pomegranate. The taste was fairly bitter with iced tea, toffee and some burnt peanuts. There was just a little bit of fruit in the middle and end of each drink, but it was fleeting. This is decent and different, I appreciate that they created something unique.

Bomber.

Clear reddish amber with a small head. Juicy citrus aroma, some caramel. I’m surprised at how bitter the flavor is relative to the aroma --- I guess this one uses a lot of bittering hops. Some caramel malt, some juice notes - I certainly wouldn’t have called the pomegranate if I hadn’t known it was in there. It’s not a sweet beer, and the flavor is not complex it the least (somehow it seems very one-dimensional, in that I don’t get the depth of flavors across the development of each sip). But it is relatively pleasing in a mouth-drying way. There’s certainly absolutely no hint of 10%. I’d have called this one at closer to 6% if I’d tried it blind, which is really an impressive job of smoothing the alcohol. Unfortunately, we don’t really have a flavor complexity to merit that 10% either.

Bottle, from Julio’s. Ok aroma, bittersweet. Noticed the pomegranate as a raspberry. Grapefruit, pine as it warmed, little vodka thing. Litely hazed brownish orange color, Small head that faded quickly to nothing. From a certain angle I thought it looked purple. Bittersweet flavor, like aroma. Mainly grapefruit. Little soapy though. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel. bitter finish. It’s alright, but I don’t think the pomegranate did anything for it.
