Amber-chesnut coloured beer with quick disappearing light yellow-beige head. Smooth aroma’s with tones of honey, nuts, lots of malts, some spices, hints of sweet breadcrust, nutbread, hops, herbs, some forrest fruits, dates and vigs (Dried). The taste has a slight midicinal bitterness, it is very malty, smooth with touches of nuts, fresh Alp herbs (Ricola)=Swiss candies some cane sugars and some hopbitterness in the finale. At the LCRBM in Kulminator in Antwerp.

Bottle. Deep copper pours beneath a slight tan head. Nose is hoppy and fruity with light citrus notes and chewy malts. Taste is a bit fruitier while at the same time being more bitter and hoppy. Some faint spice notes, touch of fruit peel, and sweet maltiness. Body is light-medium with some dryness towards the end. Light carbonation and a touch of lingering bitterness. Ends with more fruit notes, sweet malts, bitter hops and some mint or menthol type coolness" to it. Odd beer but very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with a pretty nice looking white head. Aroma is not really enjoyable. Smells somewhat like a wet dog. Could this be the pomegranate juice? Not an enjoyable aroma. I can faintly smells some hops in there as well as malts. Flavor is very medicinal. Tastes somewhat like cough syrup. Awful flavor, so awful I cannot even describe what it tastes like.

Pours dark red/light brown. Sticky white head. A lot of my favorite hop aromas. Lots of citrus and pine. I’ve never had pomegranate, and I don’t detect any unfamiliar scents or flavors. Ample malt flavors. Medium body. Nothing wrong with this beer at all.

22 oz bomber. Pours an amber coppery color with a small white head. Aroma is malty with a hint of sour wood. Taste is malty with hints of lemon zesty bitterness. Pomegranate juice is slightly detectable as well. Slightly better than average.

Oh boy! - My 2nd pomegranate ale! In this one, it doesn’t have a strong presence, mainly a fruity aftertaste way late in the finish. Nice pour, a clear, deep reddish gold with a a frothy off-white, yellow-tan head that does some fine lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty, lightly fruity (not really identifiable as pomegranate), a mild herbal bitterness, and a suggestion of the hefty ABV. Medium bodied with a peppery feeling on the tongue, it’s malty and sweet with an almost lemon zest-like bitterness, some berries, and an even stronger suggestion of the hefty ABV. It finishes on a hot, malty, fruity note - a citric seed type bitterness at the very end, along with an appearance of pomegranate. The hefty ABV is no longer a suggestion once it enters the bloodstream. I like it. I don’t thin k I would’ve called it a fruit beer because of the addition of some pomegranate juice. I vote for Belgian Strong Ale.

Dark amber coloured with some reddisch hints and a small off-white head. Sweeter roasted malty aroma, fruits. Again in the taste fruity notes with some roasted alcohol, malts with a more bitter alcoholic fruity finish.

Bottle at Uber. Interresting. Clear amber with no head. Very sweet and malty, can definitely taste the juice. Gives it a nice small fruit taste....not overwhelming.
