Bottle. Pours a reddish-amber body with a ring of white head. The aroma is toasty with some orangey hops and grass. Toasty sweet flavour with some fruitiness and caramel notes. The alcohol level was surprisingly high.

Pours to a clean bright amber/brassy body with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy/citrus hops with toasted malts and some strong pine/spruce hops. The flavor is really toasty pale malts, some pine hops, subtle fruity pomegranate. The palate is bitter and medium bodied.

dark copper pour w/ a nice light tan head and some good lacing. Decent aroma nice carmels and light piney hop resins a little pit of light fruit. Palate is nice well coated and lightly creamy. Flavor starts of reminding me a little of a barley wine.. good amount of alcohol a nice sweet carmel some grassy hops and a wierd fruity taste of pomegranate that kind of ruins this for me. It’s not bad but I wont buy it again.

Bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, mds & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear orange-amber with an average size diminishing bubbly off-white head. Pretty average aroma of caramel malt, light piney hops, yeast and mildly sour fruit. Flavour of caramel malt, hops, fruit and a spicy bitter finish. Medium bodied. Plays it somewhat safe, pretty simple stuff but it’s still enjoyable.

Bottle. Aroma is pomegranate and hops. Appearance is dark garnet (like pomegrante juice), and pours a finger’s width of head. Lacing is present, but weak. Flavor is strong in hops, with citrus, wheat, and malts notes. Oily and bitter, like a strong IPA. Good.

Bottle shared with Blankboy, GregClow, Mds, and Hogtown Harry, Harry’s bottle. Alcohol and malt aroma. Medium amber, medium white head. Strong malt and alcohol in taste. Not much else here - just a simple strong ale that is well done.

Aroma is simple and warm, with some grainy malt, piney hops, and slightly tart notes (presumably from the pomegranate). Flavour is similar, with more fruitiness coming though, and a tart, warm finish.
