12oz bottle. Pours a dark amber with a thin, lacy head. Aroma is sweet, with a pronounced caramel scent complemented by floral hops and roasted malt. Taste is medium-bodied, with a crisp hoppy bite giving way to a lingering finish of somewhat bitter hoppiness and floral notes. An unremarkable pale ale with admittedly clever marketing.

An average Beer for the average beer drinker. Light amber color with a moderate amount of head. normal bitterness and average aftertaste. The beer is not bad per say, but theres nothing remarkable about it either. Only for those who like something unremarkable.

Some of the scores are too low on this one. Granted, this is not HeBrew’s best, but it does take the basic pale ale to a slightly different level with that subtle brown, creamy taste going on. Far better than other basic beers.

12 ounce bottle Poured a light brown color with a decent head. Slight caramel on the nose along with some fruit. Very sweet with a mild hop aftertaste. Not quite enough for my taste, but very good. Smooth mouthfeel and easy to drink.Very nice session beer.

Not that good. Surprisingly weak for the alcohol. Not too much flavor or body. A little fizzy. Some caramel malt sweetness is detectable as well as a slight hop character. It tasted more like an amber ale.

12 oz bottle. Body is reddish copper color. Aroma is some hops. Taste is some hops - however I did have DFH 120 in my glass before this, and I may not have cleaned it out well enough.

Bold and smooth at the same time. (A friend brought over a six-pack today for the Seahawks-Packers game. It’s a shame Seattle lost, but I digress.) Somewhat creamy.

Pours an amber color. Very little aroma. Taste is like they used more traditional lager style hops. Metal twang in the finish. Some sweetness but not the nice malty style, more like sugar. Not a good pale ale.
