Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger lasting off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, and a touch of floral & citrusy hops. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good. FROTHINGSLOSH (2031), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a small yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet, malty and nutty with light notes of caramel and vague fruits. The flavor was sweet, tangy, bitter and fruity with a undertone of nut and caramel in the malts. Seemed more of an amber ale than an APA to me. Not bad. n49921 (108), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2007 Bottle. Sweety malty aroma, with a hint of cascade (?) hops. Pours golden with a nice white head and very nice lacing. Taste is iniitally malt than settles into hops, with a nice finish. Not an really hoppy ale, but nice. keepersj12 (810), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Hazy amber color with a small off white head. Mild aroma of malt, citrus and hops. Somewhat bland flavor. Moderately bitter. Astringent, dry finish. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Pours amber with a two-finger white head. Subtle but appetizing toffee-ish malt aroma. Very light grassy hop presence. The flavor follows along the same lines, but with a more defined citrusy, piney hoppiness. Incredibly creamy mouthfeel. Delightfully drinkable. Underrated. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 23, 2007 I cracked this thing open, and I couldnt believe how much I liked it! I am very partial to brown ales, and this one is one of the best I’ve had...ever. Slightly sweet, medium bitterness, hoppy, refreshing. Not a high rating, and I’m not exactly sure why... But this one takes the cake.
