| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Pours amber with a two-finger white head. Subtle but appetizing toffee-ish malt aroma. Very light grassy hop presence. The flavor follows along the same lines, but with a more defined citrusy, piney hoppiness. Incredibly creamy mouthfeel. Delightfully drinkable. Underrated. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 23, 2007 I cracked this thing open, and I couldnt believe how much I liked it! I am very partial to brown ales, and this one is one of the best I’ve had...ever. Slightly sweet, medium bitterness, hoppy, refreshing. Not a high rating, and I’m not exactly sure why... But this one takes the cake. carboloader (321), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Pours transparent reddish amber with medium sized white head, dissipates slowly with decent lacing. Aroma is nondescript. Nice gradual hop bitterness and balanced malt. Easy to drink. Bitter finish. Indeed, tastes like an average light brown ale. Strykzone (1494), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Pours a copper color with a surprising amount of malt. Nice white soapy foam has staying power. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Flavor is mild but is hopped and spicy but the malt provides plenty of sweetness. Aftertaste is mildly bitter. Flavor combination results in an earthy taste. Interesting and unique pale ale. Jvittorio4187 (255), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2007 Pours a brown/amber, hazy. Major fruit and malt on the nose with a slight spicyness. Big fruit on the palate with mild hops, quite fruit. Fresh fruit and sweet malt on the finish. I really like this one!! Gregis (1135), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Wow. I’m surprised to see this beer rated so lowly, as I rather enjoyed it. It pours a clear orange/brown with a creamy beige head and nice lacing. The nose is a fairly muted aroma of nutty, toasted malt and faint earthy hops. Light to medium-bodied with fine carbonation and a clean, crisp finish. The flavor follows the nose with nutty, toasted malt and both fruity and earthy hop notes finishing with a crisp, dry conclusion. This is a tasty and quaffable session beer. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 1, 2007 Bottle. Pours light brown with a little bubbly head. Smells of malted barley and essential oils. Not much in the taste, light bodied with much less hops that is evidenced by the aroma. Not a good example of an American pale. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Pours from the bottle a clear brass color with thin off-white head. Very piney, anesthetic aroma, with intense caramel notes. Medium bodied with steely dry finish and substantial carb. Tastes like solid pale ale.
