HeBrew Genesis Ale sures make a definitive statement about the power of advertising. Like the homebrew it tastes like, with a little more work, it could be good.

Aug 9, 2007 Bottle. Very light aroma, malty with some caramel and a little spicy hoppiness. Flavor is pretty smooth, but basic. Some hoppiness, some caramel characters, some citrus/spice. Not a bad beer, but not that remarkable.

Jul 22, 2007 Beautiful presentation in tall glass...reddish color with white foamy head. The first taste is moderate hop with some fruit, but aftertaste is very dry, which took away from the experience overall. Still, I liked this beer very much. It has a good inital flavor which leaves you wanting more.

Jul 17, 2007 Not bad. Poured with a nice rich foamy head and some lace. Coppery amber in color. Nose is resiny, hoppy, spicy, hint of malt. Perhaps a tad too carbonated, but the body smooths right out after a mo. Good pale ale. Almost tipping into the IPA arena. Long bitter hop finish. Having this one at Bodega Brew Pub, downtown La Crosse, WI USA

Jul 8, 2007 12 oz bottle. Dark red/brown color with off-white head. Not very strong aroma of sweet malt and alc. Cranberry, sweet, and overally bitter. Med to light body. Beer is uneven and unsettling.
