Sweet caramel malt aroma from a light golden brown body. The palate is full for a pale ale. Solid caramel malt flavor with just the right amount of hops--solid APA for sure.

Poured a nice copper beer with a 1-inch tan head. Nice appearance. Aroma is sweet and malty, but it’s not as present in the first taste, which hits hoppy and ends with an elongated bitter finish. Decent balance, but it seems more like a Pale Ale with a copper color than a Light Brown Ale. OK, but I wouldn’t rush out to have another one.

Pours a clear deep amber, topped by just under two inches of sudsy light tan foam. Very good head retention and lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramelly and a little bit fruity. The flavor starts out on the malty side, though not as bold as the aroma led me to expect. Slightly sweet and grainy, with caramel and a hint of fruit, and then WHAM the hops kick in and dominate the flavor. Bitter pine hops steal the show finishing bitter and even slightly acidic. A resinous hop aftertaste lingers for a bit. Medium body, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, tasty but not even remotely balanced.

I like beer. This ones no exception. It was definately worth trying. Our jewish brethren developed a brew that is sweet smelling and tasting, although its dry. Get a handle on this beer, its well worth the hutzpah.

A run of the mill pale ale without many standout features. Its not bad but there are definitely better ones out there.

[12oz Bottle] Amber color as it pours with a nice head. I liked the flavor as the balance with malt and hops was very nice. This was a great beer to start the night off with. I liked it a lot I can not wait to see what they have in the years to come.
