Our jewish brethren developed a brew that is sweet smelling and tasting, although its dry. Get a handle on this beer, its well worth the hutzpah. IPAGargoyleGuy (139), Troy, NY, New York, USA

Amber color as it pours with a nice head. I liked the flavor as the balance with malt and hops was very nice. This was a great beer to start the night off with. I liked it a lot I can not wait to see what they have in the years to come. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2007 An amber colored ale with a strong hop quality, this is a decent beer with a mild hop-bitterness. GreatLibations (1470), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 8, 2007 Pours deep amber w/ a medium sized, semi creamy froth. Nice lacing. Aroma of caramel hops. Medium nectar w/ ample residuals creats a soft silky texture. It’s a hoppy brew w/ nice carameling. Good ballance. Finish is bittered w/ cutrus rind. An uninteresting, simple P.A. w/ a darker amber color. luvcasks (178), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2007 pours a nice amber with a thin off white head which settles to a film
Aroma of sweet base malts, some hints of caramel, toasty and a low spicy/floral hop aroma. Some grapefruity aroma as the beer warms up
In the taste, the first short taste is of malts which is replaced by a spicy slightly resiny hop bite which is noticeable when the beer is cool. As the beer warms the malts show a little more with caramel and toast noticeable however the hop flavors still follow thru almost immediately.
Palate low carbonation, medium light on the tongue with a slightly creamy long dry finish accenting the spicy hop character
Overall: A decent pale ale nothing special seems low on the hop aroma to stand out as a west coast style American Pale Ale. The bottle I am tasting has some metallic and cardboard hints... suspect it is old as I picked it up at World Market thegreenrooster (1852), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Pour is a amber with a nice sized white head. Aroma is very light hops and malts. Flavor is again mostly light hops and malts with a bitter finish. Nothing outstanding and there are better APA’s out there. sneagrams3 (1764), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2006 12oz bottle. Filtered and a ruby copper hue. Sparse bone white head. Sweet caramel malt nose. Fruit esters with a slight apple aroma. Medium bodied with an initial sweet malt character. Bitter hops hit almost immediately on the palate. Grapefruit hops in the middle then it finishes with a sticky resinous hop flavor. Slight buttery creaminess. Crisp flavor with a nutty malt character. Dry but layered palate.
