Nov 14, 2006 Bottle. Not a brown ale as described on bottle - not sure about an APA either. Not terrible, but nothing really definitive about this brew. Drinkable - don’t think too much about this one. Much better APAs out there.

Nov 2, 2006 Clear color, lager-ish. it describes itself as a "light brown ale" but i dont get much brown ale quality out of it. Subtle hints of cocoa, but mostly light and drinkable. a bar beer, not a food beer. and hey, it’s Kosher!

Nov 1, 2006 Updated: Nov 17, 2006pours a ruby amber red with off white head.aroma is carmal and small hop also a slight off smell kinda like some ambers have.taste is crisp refreshing and slighty sweet but that’s it.very clean finsh.all in all rather boring does not hold true too the style but still well made just not enough creativity.update had again and this one is alot better flavor wisewonder if I just got a bad bottle.more hops and bitter sweetness

Oct 23, 2006 Bottle. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Sweet caramel and slight cocoa aroma. Caramel, toffee, cocoa flavor with some backing hops. Well balanced. Slight lingering bitterness. Easy to drink.

Oct 9, 2006 Poured a light amber/copper; Medium sized white head. A light aroma of malt, citrus and some hops. Taste was at best bland; not horrible but not much there. Sweet malt taste up front, with a nice water ending. There was no discernable "pronounced hop flourish." Below average.

Oct 2, 2006 Creamy copper blonde color with a super slim, unlasting head. Keeps a thin collar and very little lacing sticks, just a few spots here and there.
Aroma is dulled and muffed in a malty sweetness thats slightly melon orangey.
Taste is more of the same, a paled, dulled malty sweetness thats doughy with a slight under carriage of orange, melon, and caramel. A brief play at the hops make an effort towards the finish with a very light, tender bitter pull of floral oils. Nothing to outstanding here, a bit bland in the flavor department. Seems well crafted though, but it just isn’t pulling enough hops into the mix.
Feel is shy of medium with a low, malt soaked carbonation with a slightly textured feel in a few areas.
An OK Pale at best. A little slow and uncomplicated, yes, but carries its well crafted nature with every sip.
