| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 17, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Amber, slightly hazy with a nice, creamy head. The different hops make this an excessively bitter hebrew. Apart from the hoppiness I believe this is lacking in character. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Bottle. Pours a nice hazy dark tan with smallish head, but the head laces decently. Nose is not like an ale.... more like a lager. The aroma reminds me of Yuengling, but with much more character. Some toffee and some caramel in the nose. This one tastes like a more heavily malted lager as well, with very little hop taste, but some decent hop bitterness and also a nice thirst quenching quality. I think this is a very decent beer, but not really fitting the American Ale style as far as I’m concerned. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2005 Medium dark amber color, small white head that faded fast leaving just a hint of lace behind. The aroma was malty and some what metallic, with a light caramel and maybe a bit of hops in there as well. The flavor was certainly better then the aroma.Malty taste with a light caramel flavor, kind of bitter in the beginning and mellowing slightly towards the end with a decent but light hop presence. Not bad but i think they could do a little better in some ways. It’s worth a try atleast and it might even grow on a person after a few more. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2005 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of light brown colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a uncarbonated transparent light brown colored body. The aroma was mildly malty and the mouthe feel tingly with a lingering malt hop finish. The flavor contained notes of malts hops and mild caramel. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 16, 2005 Pours a light brown with a small frothy head. Smells terrific! Can definately smell the great quality hops in here. Super smooth, goes down a little bitter, with a bite on the back. Almost pils-like... I like this one a lot, perhaps I should get a fresher bottle next time. Still good though. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Real light nut and caramel aroma. Body is brown with a thin cream head. Hop profile is a bit to big for the style and seems out of place.
