| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2004 Bottled: Dark amber coloured. Light beige head. Fruity and malty aroma. Vague hops notes. Apples, alcahol and malt comes to mind in the flavour. Pretty boring and bland beer. Is light bitter in the end. Nate (2552), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 20, 2004 Hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head. Mild aroma of malt, citrus and hops. Flavor was kind of bland. Not real well balanced either. That being said, it was a decent, easy drinking pale ale, but I would never buy it again. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 20, 2004 Thanks to my girlfriends parents for getting me a mixed six pack of novelty beers for my birthday last month!
Pours with a slightly foggy bronze body and a light colored cream head. The aroma is rather woodsy.. a note of foot sweat and old sock.. The flavor is amassed with caramel and stinky foot hops… what kind of hops is this? There is a super tangy, almost metallic rotten grapefruit in the finish. The palate is actually pretty impressive. It’s rather fluffy but with a dry- lightly nutty and buttered toast finish. Overall… Blaaa! pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2004 12 oz bottle. Poured a slightly clouded deep amber. 2 finger off white cap that goes to a full 1cm lace....well carbonated....well pronounced nutty sweet malt aromas with some grassy-pine hop notes.... medium bodied sandy mouth feel. Rich caramel malts are out balanced by the pine like hop mix. Finish lingers with the hop astringency displacing any bready malt aftertaste. Not a bad well hopped amber ale but a tad too carbonated for me and not enough emphasis on the rich malt mixture...they have a nice malt blend here with detectable Caramel, Dark Crystal, some Munich and some Wheat but as this starts to build on the palate it gets totally eclipsed by a hop potpourri that comes off too enunciated with the over carbonation. Too bad. I prefer their other brown ale Tessic (457), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 18, 2004 This ale pours a cloudy dark amber colour with a almost creamy head. The aroma included corn syrup, sugar and malt with a hit of metallic. Initial sip had a strong bitter flavour with almost a buttery flavour. A thick creamy ale. The finish was very hoppy. And palate was the same....became better tasting the warmer it got.
