Weak fig aroma. Hazy dingy brown, no head. Sufficiently malty, yeasty, with undertones of dates. Good balance. Fantastic lemongrass and bark finish, with hints of the elusive cilantro. Don’t let looks fool ya, this is a good beer. No nuttiness that would be expected from an ABA and too hoppy to be an EBA, but a delightfull drink.

Bottle in the rake. Alround rating: Now discribed as a light brown ale @ 5.6%. Biscuity caramalt, grassy english hop character, some citrusyness, but not really. Not my scene to be honest.

Eewph. This wasn’t a plesant thing for me. Unenjoyable on a lat of levels, predominatly the flavor. Soem fruity notes, a litte pine-grass but just too syrupy. It tasted fake to me. Dont’ know how to describe it.

This poured a lighter amber/orange color with an off white head. Aroma was mainly sweet malts maybe some caramel and slight hops. Flavor iwas mainly sweet slightly roasted malts with some bittering hops but not many hop flavor notes. Not bad but not too good.

Carmel nose; orange/amber color, thin and very temporary head; no lacing, The initial flavor is burnt sugar, light hoppy finish. Not my favorite but it was refreshing after a 35 mile bike ride.

Bottle. Pours a nice looking clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel and some pine. Flavor of a little caramel and pine, faint hoppy bitter. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Over all, a decent pale.

12 oz Bottle from World Market. Nose of lighly piney and citrusy hops with some caramel. Copper with a medium beige head. Flavor is light bitterness with an off vegtal note and a very faint diacetyl note.
