Pours a wonderful bronze/ red color with a white forming head. The appearance is great but the aroma and taste just don’t match it. Good Pale ale, not great.

Bottle, dark copper color,. Not a strong aroma some of hops. Smooth taste, with a small hop bite that is nice. I did not notice much malt sweetnes as stated in the description. I guess that is why they call it supple. Decent beer, not too much to write home about.

Bottle from Utobeer. Clear attractive amber colour. Lasting thin beige head. Certainly hoppy, but more peppery hoppy tongue stinging hoppy than PNW hoppy. Some ok nutty caramel malts. Some sweetness and richness. Carbonation makes it a bit metallic. Some fruit salad in there somewhere. Fine.

(11/23/08) Draught at Hop Leaf in Chicago. Hazy amber color with a medium, stable, off-white head. Aroma of malt, some toasted notes, caramel, fruits, and some slightly floral, slightly earthy, hops. Sweetish malty flavor at first with some caramel and light biscuit hints, continues pleasant and bitter with some grapefruit. Medium-bodied.
