Black body with a thin tan head. Odd aroma that seems like dry malt to me. Solid malt taste and quite thick with it. A bit of sweetness from something like molasses on the end. Good and very drinkable, albeit kind of muddled.

Bottled. Very dark ruby - near black, aveage head. Grapefruity nose. A tarry flavour jumps in my face at first sip. Near full bodied with clean mouthfeel. Licorice dominates. A very extrovert beer with direct, sharp flavours and inky finish.

Pours a very dark, nearly opaque brown with ruby hues and a frothy, nicely-lacing tan head. Aroma is sweet and toasty with a nice crystalized caramel presence and some fresh piney hops. Body starts with a viscous dark toasty sticky caramel and green, piney bitter hoppy balance. Finishes lightly bittersweet with some lingering toasted caramel malty notes. A nice American strong ale with plenty of malt and hops.

Pours dark coffee brown w/ a smokey malt nose. Full nectar w/ mellow coffee/cocoa flavors and a smokey character. Drinks like a dry stout yet the flavors persist to the finish. Well ballanced. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bomber from Bottleworks. Very dark cherry red color with light brown head that shoots up pretty nicely. Hoppy aroma; some toffee maltiness comes through. Defintely can taste some licorice, banana, caramel...good hop balance. Finishes with a great espresso tatse...love that.

22oz bottle pours dark brown with a short offwhite head. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, a bit of coffee and some alcohol. Flavor is roasty. Notes of coffee, caramel, burnt malts, liccorice, molasses, and alcohol. Finishes with some pine hops and an alcohol punch in the mouth. Strong bold flavor and a little too alcoholic for my taste.

Bottle. Dark brown with a small tan head. Mild roast, bit of acidic tang in the aroma reminds me of one of my homebrews oddly enough. Sweet malty body with dry not quite roasty character, earthy notes. Average palate. Pleasant.

Dark stout-ish color with thick beige head, almost opaque with garnet edges. Roasty aroma of coffee and grain with dried black fruit. Rich creamy mouthfeel, long burnt finish, dark chocolate and coffee, tastes more like a stout to me than a strong ale, but I do sense the warming alcohol on the finish too.
