Black color. Aroma of leather and vanilla, chocolate. Medium sweetness, strong caramel and chocolate flavor, some liquorice. Good.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a light brown head. Somewhat vinous, port-like nose with a touch of wood. Full body with roasted malts and again some woody accents. Notes of dried fruit and a slightly raw bitterness in the finish. But overall quite interesting. 301107

Bottle. Deep dark brown colour, almost black. The aroma is sweet with caramel, ripe fruits, roasted malt and sirup. Sticky mouth feel. The flavour is quite sweet with ripe fruits, roasted malt, sirup, bitter hops, slight chocolate and some alcohol. Good brew but too sweet.

Earthy and roasted notes with bread and dark fruit coming thru. Bakers cocoa with soft marzipan and dark nougat. Mild astringency follows through. Big dry roasted finish.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown with light ruby highlights and a medium sized red-brown head. The aroma was sweet ripe fruits - mostly cherry and apple - with strong notes of molasses. The flavor was full of fruity hops, molasses and dry chocolate in the finish. The beer was marvelously thick and full bodied and hid the alcohol very well. Marvelous!

22 oz. bottle shared by DarkElf - thanks Stephen! Pours dark ruby brown and mostly opaque with a moderate beigey tan head that diminishes rather quickly. Aroma of roasty malts, dark fruits are in the background, but still noticible, earthy herbal notes as well. Flavor is roasty bitter, with subtle dark, unsweet fruits, relatively bold herbal bitterness as well with a bit of floral hoppiness. Body is medium full with a bit of tingly carbonation.

22 oz bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with ruby red light shining through. Head was thick and light tan with decent retention. Aroma is malt dominated and reminiscent of molasses. There are also dried fruits and some roasted malt. Slightly sweet on the tongue with mild hop bitterness of about 2 out of 10. Pleasant combination of dried fruit (especially raisin), roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate muffin, and molasses flavors. Medium bodied with a nice roasty, chocolatey finish. Good beer.

Big bottle. Pours an opaque black/brown. Aroma of an overload of malts. Has a strong stout signature in its flavor. Loads of caramel, fruits and chocolate balanced out with just enough hop bitterness. a great lingering taste. Easy drinking for a strong ale.
