22oz bottle shared by bfeldmann. Orangey brown, probably more brown, nice little initial head. Aroma was dried fruits, piney resinous hops, roasted malts. Flavor followed suit, interesting play of roasted darker malts, chocolate, some dark fruits with a full hop profile. Mouthfeel was full yet with a light dryness, no sticky aspects. Nice sipper of a bwine!

Bottle. Plenty of roasted malts and hops makes this brew full of flavor and a one of a kind. Great beer!

Pours a dark brown with a medium, frothy light beige head. Smells of sweet dark malts, some light dark fruit action, and some light caramel. The flavor is of pretty heavy chocolate and roasty fruits. Had some light coffee notes in there as well. Some nutty figs and grapes show up as well. This is a very tasty brew. I quite enjoyed it.

22oz - Aroma has a lot going on. Many different malts and hops fighting for attention. In the end, it’s the chocolate malts and spicy hops that win. Pours deep cola color with a small head and good lacing. Flavor starts hot and bitter but smooths out with lots of roasted malts and chewy hops. Palate is tart and dry. A very busy brew but still quite tasty. I wonder if some time in the cellar would blend and mellow this one.

Thanks John. The beer pours to a dark brown body with an off-white head. The aroma is chocolate and granola bar-like with liquid chocolate and barley. The flavor is a combination oatmeal, sweet liquid milk chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and nicely toasted body. Rich coating mouthfeel with a dense syrupy chocolate sauce palate. Another good beer by HeBrew.

Pours a very dark brown with a small brown head. The malt is the predominant element in the aroma. However the hoppiness is equally as strong as the maltiness making for a very well balance dark beer with a generous hop fixture.

Very dark, little or no head. Aroma was very strong with malt overpowering the hops. The hops and malts did not mix well together. Medium bodied, harsh. Did not finish the bomber.

Bottle pours black with a tan head. Smells like a combo of malt and hops. Taste is somewhat harsh with the malt not mixing very well with the hops. Just ok.
