bottle at Ft Wayne locals tasting - Pours dark brown with a thin, lingering tan head. It smells of sweet roast malt and a little alcohol. The flavor is of roast coffee accented malt with a good balance of moderately strong hops. It’s full bodied and lightly carbonated with a roasty, rather bitter finish. Nice.

07 bomber. Pours a black with amber edging. One finger tan head laces all the way to the bottom. Aromas of chocolate, black liquorice, alcohol, sweet malt, and a slightly unpleasent medicine quality. Sweet and complex flavor with notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel, citrus, alcohol, honey, a cough syrup preasence, and a long spicy sweet and bitter balanced finish. Big body, lively carb, syrupy texture, and a warm sweet feel. Reminded me of a sweet Imperial Stout (nothing wrong with that), and for the price it’s a hell of a deal for such a big beer.

650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours an opaque dark brown with a small khaki head. The aroma is strong with dark roasted malts, black licorice and a bit of espresso. The flavor is pretty much dominated by the black licorice, with supporting coffee, dark pit fruits, loads of roasted malt and complex hops way in the background. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The finish is long with lingering anise. Overall: A very interesting brew and one of the hardest to describe. Hebrew has built themselves (and us) a real Frankenstein of a beer. Whats amazing is that it all seems to work rather well. Recommended try.

Sample from a 22 oz. bottle shared by either Tmoney99 or shigadeyo. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a small fleeting beige head. The aroma has a lot going on: moderate sweetness, caramel, brown sugar, citrus, chocolate, pine, and alcohol. The flavor has big chewy caramel malt, some roast, chocolate, bread, rye character, and some earthy and pine hops. The alcohol becomes more noticable as it warms. This was better than expected.

I thought this was an imperial stout when i tried it. Very smooth body and mouthfeel. Roasted, chocolatey flavor, very fruity. Dark fruits: figs, plums. Nice presence of bitter, spicy hops at the end, with a little bit of citrus/tartness mixed in. Overall, its a powerful beer thats smooth and goes down easy considering the abv.

Bottle. Small tan head that was mostly lasting, opaque, no visible carbonation, very little lacing, and a dark brown hue. The aroma was very malty, semi-sweet, caramel, definite hop presence, dark fruits, and alcohol. The flavor was caramel, malty, semi-sweet, hoppy, citrus, bitter, some pine and a slight hot finish. Medium body and a fairly smooth mouthfeel. I just could not get into the flavor of this beer and it is not a beer that I can drink a lot of at any given time. Worth a try though.

Dark beer with mohagany hues when held against the light. Creamy beige head. Heavily malted sweet caramel nose with noticable hop and alcohol notes. This is a thick, sweet beer with lots of toffee, caramel, malt syrup, and lots of citrus rind and pine bitterness. The finish is hot, almost peppery.
