(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Pours a clear warm reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of burned malt, fruit and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with burned malts and a hint of solvents. Distinctly bitter burned finish with a huge alcohol burn. 260708

Bottled - tasted blind. A deep red beer with a disappearing tan head. The aroma is very sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of alcohol, and lighter notes of whiskey and wood. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, alcohol and lighter notes of roasted bread, chocolate, adn medicin, leading to a very dry and bitter finish.

#14 Bottle [Sk8viking great American blind tasting] Small beige fizzy head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of roasted malt, hint of smoke, wood, hint of vanilla. Liquorish, burned malt, alcohol, pine and grapefruit. Full bodied with a soft carbonation and dry thick alcoholic texture. Heavy bitter and sweet flavor. Lingering bitter burned malt and hoppy finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 4 / 14 = 3.5

Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Has a nice balance of all the different hops and malts. Is bitter with the taste of syrup and chocolate. The alcohol is well hidden in the beer!

Shared by Fidel, pours cola brown with full tan head. The nose and flavor match, both powerful and flavorful, with chocolate, summer fruits like plum, caramel and a slight touch of soy. Very complex and a good experience.

Bought in Sams in Chicago. Pours a dark brown body with a small brown head. The aroma is very full; dark fruits, roasted malts and hops. The taste has everything but the kitchen sink; bitter hops, rich roasted malts, some coco and coffee beans. Very nice, but kinda too much that didn’t go well together, it needed to mesh more. But overall, a damn nice beer.
