Pours dark brown, off-white head.
Aroma is malty, light caramel nose, brown sugar and roast with some hints of hops.
Flavor, abv is definitely present though not overpowering, still keeps a nice hoppy bouquet even two years later.
Balanced with a nice malty palate, hitns of dark fruits, grapefruit and sweetness.

I was fricking wasted by the end so some of these rates might be a bit odd. I noted this had more head than Jewbelation 12. Sweet malt and rum and raisin on the nose. Coffee in the mouth. sigma23 (239), , Maine, USA

I enjoyed reading the notes on the bottle, especially the Spinal Tap reference. Pours very dark brown with only thin layer of beige head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, light chocolate, and some alcohol. Complex flavor of sweet and slightly burnt malts, caramel, some fruits (cherry, raisin), tobacco, creamy chocolate, light coffee, tingling bourbon. Velvety mouthfeel and warming alcohol. The hops must have mellowed with the age. It’s nicely sweet, reminiscent of a good barley wine. bvc (347), Kenmore, Washington, USA

Roasty, dark cherry, blueberry, chocolate and tobacco. Light body with subtle carb going on. Not really flat per se, but again tastes like it is off of nitro. Thin and slightly tart. Roasty and some oxidation showing. Tobacco, chocolate, cherry, cranberries. Smooth for 11%, but this one is a bit all over the place. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Opaque black beer with a frothy brown head. Sillky smooth with bags of malt depth and a chocolate undertone. Fairly hoppy finish which is dry. Mad beer but very drinkable! zvikar (435), Tel-Aviv, Israel
